Ring Size Chart & Guide | Find Your Perfect Fit | Aurevyn Paris

Finding the perfect ring is an experience of a lifetime, but ensuring it fits flawlessly is just as important as the design itself. At Aurevyn Paris, each piece is handcrafted with precision in our Aurevyn atelier. To help you find your perfect match, we’ve created this comprehensive guide to measuring your ring size at home.

How to Measure Your Ring Size at Home

If you don't have a professional sizer handy, you can easily find your size using common household items. For the most accurate results, we recommend measuring your finger at the end of the day, when your fingers are at their largest.

Method 1: The String or Paper Test

  1. Wrap: Take a thin strip of paper or a piece of non-stretchy string and wrap it around the base of the finger you intend to wear the ring on.

  2. Mark: Use a pen to mark the exact point where the end meets the rest of the string/paper.

  3. Measure: Lay the string flat against a ruler and measure the distance in millimeters (mm). This is your finger's circumference.

  4. Compare: Use the chart below to find your corresponding size.

Method 2: Measure an Existing Ring

  1. Select a ring that already fits the intended finger perfectly.

  2. Use a ruler to measure the internal diameter of the ring in millimeters (do not include the metal thickness).

  3. Match the diameter to our conversion chart.

Pro-Tips for a Flawless Fit

  • Consider the Knuckle: If your knuckle is significantly larger than the base of your finger, measure both and choose a size in between so the ring slides on securely but comfortably.

  • Temperature Matters: Fingers shrink in the cold and swell in the heat. Avoid measuring after a workout or on a particularly chilly morning.

  • Band Width: Wider bands (above 6mm) often feel tighter. If you are choosing a wide Aurevyn design, we generally recommend sizing up by a half size.

  • The Dominant Hand: Your dominant hand is often slightly larger. Always measure the specific finger on the hand where you plan to wear the piece.

Our Artisan Promise: Because every Aurevyn Paris ring is a symbol of a precious moment, we want it to feel like a second skin. If you are between sizes, we always suggest opting for the larger size for maximum comfort.
